Superscribe goes Beta

Please welcome Superscriber to the world. My name is Elliot and I’m building a new way to subscribe to emails (and unsubscribe!).

Emails are everywhere. It’s time to make it easier for store owners to manage their email lists and at the same time make it easier for anyone to subscribe.

Subscribe. No, scrap that – let’s superscribe investigate this site! Let’s do email right and stop clogging inboxs up.

Superscribe is currently free. Once you have created an account you can download the WordPress plugin.

How it works

Visitors subscribe to your email list through Superscriber. We validate the email addresses (to make sure they are real) and manage your digital gift.

A digital gift is a download that is used to incentivise a visitor to subscribe. Usually this is an ebook or digital guide. We show a popup on your website promoting the list and the gift. You can upload your gift to Superscriber and we do the rest. You don’t have to mess around with creating your own landing page on your own site or creating links. We simplify this for you by managing it.

We keep a list of all your subscribers email addresses. At the moment you can download this as a CSV or Excel spreadsheet. We’re currently developing some new integrations direct to email services like MailChimp, ActiveCampaign and Drip.

If you want a specific integration, please let us know in the comments.

Is that it?

No, we want to make it easier for subscribers to find valuable content and interesting web sites. That’s why we’re making a directory of sites so a visitor can easily subscribe with one click. This helps you get new subscribers and helps the subscriber find relevant sites.

WordPress Plugin

Once installed and activated, please head to Settings > Superscriber to setup your custom messages for the popup.

You can also disable the popup and use the Widget if you prefer. This can be found in the Appearance > Widgets section.

Any ideas?

Do drop us a note if you have any feedback. We’re in beta and pushing updates very regulary. If something doesn’t work as expected we’d love to know.
